What are you looking for in an industrial tech founder?
Someone who knows something the market hasn’t figured out yet. Technical depth, commercial instinct, speed, and enough ambition to make the obvious answer feel too small.
What did you do before Runway?
Started in tech and never really left. Early Opera employee, built Opera India, CTO roles, 120+ startup investments at Katapult, and a couple of unicorns. I’ve spent most of my career around people building things from scratch.
What are you known for at RunwayVC?
Going down rabbit holes. Technology, founders, markets, data. Occasionally I come back with an investment.
What are you obsessing over right now?
AI leaving the chat window. Agents that act, industrial software that learns, and intelligence moving into the physical world. That’s where it gets interesting.
